FAQ

You can have a session at your house or workplace, in your car, in the parking lot of your kids’ sports event, or anywhere else you are comfortable because all my sessions are currently conducted via Telehealth as long as you are located in Ohio or Virginia.

My hours are Monday – Friday, 9 am – 2 pm; however, I have some flexibility and am willing to discuss options.

Sessions are typically around 50 minutes. However, specific treatment modalities can require 90 minutes. Some folks come weekly; others biweekly or monthly. It all depends on your goals and what feels sustainable.

Absolutely. What we discuss stays between us – like a vault with excellent locks. The only exceptions are legal ones, such as safety concerns. Otherwise, it’s your safe and sacred space.

I don’t accept insurance.

However, I can provide you with the necessary invoices (Superbills) to file claims independently, so your insurance plan reimburses you directly.

You are responsible for paying fees at the time of service.

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please give me at least 24 hours’ advance notice.

This allows me to offer your time slot to someone else. I charge a cancellation fee for the whole session if you are a no-show for the second session or if you cancel your appointment late. I accept cancellations via email, phone, text, or direct message through Simple Practice.

I work with adults ready for healing, growth, or a safe place where they can exhale. My clients are first responders, caregivers, or people exploring spiritual and energy-based healing. You’re in the right place if you’re carrying stress, burnout, or if life feels too heavy.

Think of my work as a blend of science and soul. I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio and Virginia, certified in First Responder Therapy, and trained in Soul Detective Therapy/Energy Healing.

Sessions may combine mindfulness, energy work, spirituality, and evidence-based practices, always tailored to what feels supportive for you.

Yes. I’m certified in First Responder Therapy and as a 911 dispatcher. I sincerely respect the unique challenges of your world. I am the proud daughter of a Firefighter/Medic who became a dispatcher and nurse.

You don’t need to explain every detail for me to understand the weight you carry. This is a judgment-free zone, where you can take off the “armor” and be human.

Great question! It’s a therapeutic approach designed to gently uncover and heal emotional or spiritual wounds that may be hidden beneath the surface.

Think of it as shining a compassionate flashlight into the deeper layers of your story, helping you reconnect with your most authentic self. This could include, but is not limited to: Releasing Vows, Soul Retrieval, Past Life Trauma Clearing, Root Causes, Negative Patterns, Chakra/Meridian Balance/clearing, and more.

Nope! In fact, that’s the point. You don’t need a five-step plan, a clear goal, or even the “perfect” words. Therapy is about showing up as you are; we’ll figure things out together.

Then you cry. Keep tissues nearby, as tears are welcome. They’re often a sign that something important is moving and healing. (And if you don’t cry? That’s okay, too. Therapy isn’t graded.)
